This tour of all India tour package involves some of the most exotic cities of India’s desert state-Rajasthan- is extremely captivating and almost seduces the traveller with its enigmatic and colourful history, traditions, culture and heritage. The tour starts with Delhi, taking the tourists through the old and new of Delhi and then moves on to Jaipur, the nearest city in the state of Rajasthan, which also happens to be the capital of state and is popularly known as the Pink city.

 

From the forts and palaces of Jaipur the traveller then moves on to the dense forests of Ranthambore to meet the elusive Royal Bengal tiger in its natural habitat and then lands in the city of Taj Mahal – the epitome of love, before finally touching the holy ghats of river Ganga in the Benares-a city, which Mark Twain, an English author has mentioned as being a city older than history, tradition, and even legend and that looks twice as old as all of them put together.

Itinerary Description:

Day 01 :

 

Arrive at Delhi international airport. A representative will be waiting for you inside the arrival terminal visitor place, holding a placard. Meet upon arrival and transfer to your Hotel for check-in. Spend overnight at you’re the hotel.

 

Day 02 :

 

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Delhi. The palaces worth visiting are Raj ghat, Red Fort, built by the great Mughal Shah Jahan in the 17th century (Passing by in car on the way to Old Delhi). Rising amid the chaotic huddle of streets is the Jama Masjid, India's with rickshaw ride.  New Delhi visiting India Gate – The memorial arch of the World War, President House – official residence of India’s President, Birla temple & Bangla Sahib Gurudwara.  Also, visit to Humayun’s tomb. Spend overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 03 :

 

After breakfast drive to Jaipur which takes around 6 hours drive. JAIPUR, popularly known as the Pink City, was founded in 1727 AD by one of the greatest rulers of the Kachhawaha clan, the astronomer king Sawai Jai Singh. The pink color was used at the time of making to create an impression of red sandstone buildings of Mughal cities - and repainted in 1876, during the visit of the Prince of Wales. The city is best explored on foot and the adventurous visitor willing to go into the inner lanes can discover a whole new world not visible to the tourist-in-a-hurry. Upon arrival, check-in to Hotel.  Evening free to rest & relax. Spend overnight at hotel.
 
 

Day 04 :

 

After Breakfast proceed for sight seeing tour of JAIPUR – which includes visits to the City Palace of the Jaipur Maharaja. The honey-comb designed Hawa Mahal also known as the Palace of Wind from where the royal ladies, who lived in seclusion, observed life on the outside yet remained hidden inside. Also we visit the amazingly accurate Jantar Mantar stone Observatory and Amber Palace - The Former Capital of Rajput kingdom. We step back in time as we are transported up the hill to the palace on brightly caparisoned elephants — true to the style of the Maharajas of the past. Inside we find lavish courtyards, beautifully decorated halls and a lovely Chamber of Mirrors. Evening return & free to rest & relax. Spend overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 05 :

 

After breakfast drive to Ranthambore - The gateway to the world renowned Ranthambore National Park- the famous Tiger Reserve. Ranthambore National Park: The 392 sq. km. Park comprises of dry deciduous forests sprawling over an undulating terrain of the Aravalli and Vindhyan ranges .The Park is one of the finest tiger reserve in the country under the Project Tiger. Ranthambore sanctuary has a large number of sambhar, chital. Nilgai, chinkara, langur, wild boar and peafowl. The local fauna of the park includes leopard, hyena, jackal, jungle cat, sloth bear and a little population of pythons. Upon arrival check in to Resort and later proceed for Game Drive. Evening return & free to rest & relax. Spend overnight at your Resort.

 

Day 06 :

 

After breakfast proceed for morning Game Drive. In afternoon after having your lunch will again proceed for Game drive at Ranthambore. Evening return & free to rest & relax. Spend overnight at Resort.

 

Day 07 :

 

After breakfast, drive towards Agra enroute visit Fathepur Sikhri. Agra is a sprawling industrial city, 204 Kms south of Delhi, is synonymous with the Taj Mahal, India’s most famous building, which sits on the bank of Yamuna River. The city has a lively but chaotic chowk and plenty of places to stay and eat. Upon arrival check-in the Hotel for overnight stay.

 

Day 08 :

 

After breakfast, proceed for sight seeing tour of The TAJ MAHAL: Little needs to be said about this architectural wonder, which is always the soul raison-de-etre for every tourist's visit to Agra. Built by Shah Jahan, the Taj is a white marble memorial to his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. This monument took 22 years to be completed and was designed, and planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. Apart from its stunning design balance and perfect symmetry, the Taj is also noted particularly for its elegant domes, intricately carved screens and some of the best inlay work ever seen. Later proceed for sightseeing tour of AGRA CITY -Two great Mughal monarchs, Akbar and Shah Jahan, transformed the little village of Agra into a befitting second capital of the Mughal Empire - giving it the name Dar-ul-Khilafat {seat of the Emperor}. Today a visitor to Agra is caught up in a world of contrasting edifices, of red sandstone and white marble, narrow galleys and quaint buggies, and that irresistible charm that this favorite city of the Mughals still retains. It is not surprising, that modern Agra still reflects its Mughal heritage most conspicuously. A walk down the narrow bustling streets of the city will introduce the visitor to the wafting aroma of Mughlai cuisine. PM: Departure transfer to Agra Fort station for Train to Varanasi. O/N on the train.

 

Day 09 :

 

Arrival at Varanasi Junction, Varanasi, the city of Shiva, is one of the holiest cities in India. Hind pilgrims come to wash away all their sins in the Ganges. Varanasi was previously called Banaras and Kashi and has always been an auspicious place to die, since expiring here offers moksha – liberation from the cycle of birth and death. Meet upon arrival and transfer to your Hotel. PM: Visit Ghat for Aarti ceremony, Spend overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 10 :

 

The days begins in this holy city with a dawn boat ride on the River Ganges and see the various Ghats with people ritually cleansing their sins. You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and proceed towards river Ganges for sunrise boat sail and return. Later after breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Sarnath. Spend overnight at hotel.

 

Day 11 :

 

AM: Free at leisure PM: Departure transfer to Domestic airport to board flight to Delhi and Fly back to Delhi.
