Package's Detail:

There was a time when the vast plains of the north were covered with forest and grasslands and the wilderness crouched at the edge of every settlement. Hunting and shooting parties and game drives were popular sport and records of these expeditions list a phenomenal number of kills. But the pressure of population and deforestation eventually took its toll and the wounded forests retreated. Fortunately, there were many who were keen to conserve this natural heritage and this is how the country got its wildlife parks that now boast of many prime species of which Tiger is one.

This part of country is famous for roaring tigers, elusive leopards, majestic elephants and spirited herbivores like cheetal, sambhar, bluebulls. Animals like Tiger and leopard on the other hand are shy and elusive so it is a little difficult to spot them. However what this tour makes one realise that the world of wilderness is different from ours where there are signage, which are easy to understand. The signages of the world of wilderness are restricted to sounds like animals calls, and sights like pug mark, marking of territory etc.

Itourify India Travels combines this wilderness tour with that of a visit to the erotic temples of Khajuraho to add to the spice.
