The golden triangle in India package tour signifies the jewels in the crown of Indian tourism. Itinerary Description:

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

 

Arrive at Delhi international airport. A representative will be waiting for you inside the arrival terminal visitor place, holding a placard. Meet upon arrival and transfer to your Hotel for check-in. Spend overnight at you’re the hotel.

 

Day 02 : Delhi - Sight Seeing

 

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Delhi. The palaces worth visiting are Raj ghat, Red Fort, built by the great Mughal Shah Jahan in the 17th century (Passing by in car on the way to Old Delhi). Rising amid the chaotic huddle of streets is the Jama Masjid, India's with rickshaw ride.  New Delhi visiting India Gate – The memorial arch of the World War, President House – official residence of India’s President, Birla temple & Bangla Sahib Gurudwara.  Also, visit to Humayun’s tomb. Spend overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 03 : Delhi - Jaipur (258 Kms/ Around 06 Hrs)

 

After breakfast drive to Jaipur which takes around 6 hours drive. JAIPUR, popularly known as the Pink City, was founded in 1727 AD by one of the greatest rulers of the Kachhawaha clan, the astronomer king Sawai Jai Singh. The pink color was used at the time of making to create an impression of red sandstone buildings of Mughal cities - and repainted in 1876, during the visit of the Prince of Wales. The city is best explored on foot and the adventurous visitor willing to go into the inner lanes can discover a whole new world not visible to the tourist-in-a-hurry. Upon arrival, check-in to Hotel.  Evening free to rest & relax. Spend overnight at hotel.

 

Day 04 : Jaipur - Sight Seeing

 

After Breakfast proceed for sight seeing tour of JAIPUR – which includes visits to the City Palace of the Jaipur Maharaja. The honey-comb designed Hawa Mahal also known as the Palace of Wind from where the royal ladies, who lived in seclusion, observed life on the outside yet remained hidden inside. Also we visit the amazingly accurate Jantar Mantar stone Observatory and Amber Palace - The Former Capital of Rajput kingdom. We step back in time as we are transported up the hill to the palace on brightly caparisoned elephants — true to the style of the Maharajas of the past. Inside we find lavish courtyards, beautifully decorated halls and a lovely Chamber of Mirrors. Evening return & free to rest & relax. Spend overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 05 : Jaipur – Agra (232 Kms/ Around 05 hrs)

 

After breakfast, drive towards Agra. Agra is a sprawling industrial city, 204 Kms south of Delhi, is synonymous with the Taj Mahal, India’s most famous building, which sits on the bank of Yamuna River. The city has a lively but chaotic chowk and plenty of places to stay and eat. Upon arrival check-in the Hotel for overnight stay.

 

Day 06 : Agra - Sight Seeing / Delhi

 

After breakfast, proceed for sight seeing tour of The TAJ MAHAL: Little needs to be said about this architectural wonder, which is always the soul raison-de-etre for every tourist's visit to Agra. Built by Shah Jahan, the Taj is a white marble memorial to his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. This monument took 22 years to be completed and was designed, and planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. Apart from its stunning design balance and perfect symmetry, the Taj is also noted particularly for its elegant domes, intricately carved screens and some of the best inlay work ever seen. Later proceed for sightseeing tour of AGRA CITY -Two great Mughal monarchs, Akbar and Shah Jahan, transformed the little village of Agra into a befitting second capital of the Mughal Empire - giving it the name Dar-ul-Khilafat {seat of the Emperor}. Today a visitor to Agra is caught up in a world of contrasting edifices, of red sandstone and white marble, narrow galleys and quaint buggies, and that irresistible charm that this favorite city of the Mughals still retains. It is not surprising, that modern Agra still reflects its Mughal heritage most conspicuously. A walk down the narrow bustling streets of the city will introduce the visitor to the wafting aroma of Mughlai cuisine. PM: Transfer to Delhi. Check-in to the Hotel. Spend overnight at hotel.

 

Day 07 : Delhi - Cochin (Flight)

 

After breakfast, transfer to domestic airport to board flight to Cochin. Upon arrival meet & greet and transfer to Hotel for stay. Kochi (colonial name Cochin) is a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as 'God's Own Country'. Its strategic importance over the centuries is underlined by the sobriquet Queen of the Arabian Sea. Informally, Cochin is also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala. From time immemorial, the Arabs, British, Chinese, Dutch, and Portuguese have left indelible marks on the history and development of Cochin. Over the years, Cochin has emerged as the commercial and industrial capital of Kerala and is perhaps the second most important city on the west coast of India (after Mumbai/Bombay). Cochin is proud of its world class port and international airport that link it to many major cities worldwide.

 

Day 08 : Cochin – Sightseeing

 

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Cochin City with evening Kathakali Dance program. Spend overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 09 : Cochin – Alleppy (68 Kms/01-02 Hrs)

 

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey and check in houseboat. Kettuvalloms or Houseboats (Riceboats) are country boats that were used in the early days for the transport of goods from the isolated interior villages to the towns. With the advent of roads, bridges and ferry services, gradually the Kettuvalloms went off the scene. Now these Kettuvalloms are back again as a major tourist attraction. A ride on a Kettuvalloms is a fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of the backwaters. A house boat is about 67 feet in length and has a width of around 13 feet in the middle. The materials that go into the making are all local and Eco friendly bamboo poles, coconut fiber ropes, bamboo mats, coir carpets etc. The main wood used is "Anjili". The house boats have fully furnished single and double rooms comfortable chairs, kitchen and toilet. In addition there is also separate rest room for the crew. Traditional lanterns are used as lights. The crew includes a chef and two oarsmen. The cuisine is traditional Kerala flavors with the local specialties; delicious fish and prawns. Spend overnight on House Boat.

 

Day 10 : Alleppy – Sailing

 

Whole day spend on boat sailing through rivers and cannels. Spend overnight at House Boat.

 

Day 11 : Alleppy – Kovalam (158 Kms / 04 Hrs)

 

After breakfast, tfr to Kovalam, upon arrival check-in Hotel. Kovalam one of India’s internationally renowned beaches, in the God's own country, Kerala, Kovalam, If its sun sea and sand that you are looking for, Kovalam is your ultimate destination. Once a hippy idyll, Kovalam is now a fully fledged commercialized beach which attracts tourists from all over the world. The Kerala tourism has over the recent past, has invested in Kovalam so much so that Kovalam now figures prominently in the world tourist map. Kovalam is a beach town on the Arabian Sea in Kerala, a state in south India. It is located around 16 km outside Thiruvananthapuram (Trivendrum) City in the Thiruvananthapuram district.
